As part of a small cross-functional team, I helped reimagine the Healthline experience—rethinking both the brand's voice and the site's design. The existing experience felt outdated from both a visual and usability standpoint since it focused only on editorial content, so we explored a new direction that aligned with evolving product and design trends.
We introduced bolder imagery featuring real people, a refined color palette to strengthen brand recognition, and a more modern, approachable visual system. Beyond the visual refresh, we focused on making Healthline's medical rigor and credibility more visible by highlighting its review process, expert contributors, and commitment to incorporating the latest research.
We also balanced business goals by integrating strategic CTAs that guided readers to relevant content, tools, and newsletter sign-ups. A key objective was helping Healthline evolve from a traditional health publisher into a more accessible, action-oriented health platform—making it easier for readers to discover trusted information and take the next step in their health journey.
Market research and user testing before launch showed overwhelmingly positive feedback on the new structure, visual direction, content strategy, and overall brand experience.
